The Mater Private Network is seeking to recruit a Stores Assistant for a permanent full-time contract to join our busy multi-disciplinary team, working in our main hospital to ensure the fulfilment of consumable requirements to the various hospital departments, while ensuring a high standard of service delivery. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team to grow the service. This post reports to the Stores Manager.
Duties within the role will include delivery of crosschecked consumables to the various Hospital departments, goods receipts, stock control, stock-taking, month end reporting, resolution of invoice queries, contribute to projects within the department, ensure health & safety compliance within the department.
Candidate Requirements
Leaving Certificate or equivalent
Stock Control and inventory management.
Knowledge of Medical Products, an advantage
Knowledge of Excel and MS suite
Continuous Improvement focus on improving service delivery and efficiencies within the department
Excellent interpersonal and communication skill
