We are a growing food manufacturing business supplying retail, foodservice and wholesale customers. We are seeking an ambitious and driven Factory Operations & Continuous Improvement Leader to take ownership of our manufacturing operation and help drive the business to the next level.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing all operational departments, including Production, Quality, Logistics, Planning, Procurement and Maintenance. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening leadership across the business, building systems and processes, improving operational performance, and creating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction across all operational functions, including Production, Quality, Logistics, Planning, Procurement and Maintenance.
- Lead, coach and develop department managers and their teams to improve performance and accountability.
- Build and implement systems, processes, SOPs and management structures that improve consistency and efficiency across the business.
- Establish clear KPIs, reporting frameworks and accountability measures throughout the operation.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement focused on productivity, efficiency, quality, customer service and cost control.
- Identify and eliminate operational inefficiencies, bottlenecks and waste.
- Improve communication, collaboration and alignment between departments.
- Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of quality, food safety and customer service.
- Monitor operational performance and use data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support succession planning and leadership development throughout the organisation.
- Work closely with the Managing Director on strategic initiatives, business growth plans and operational improvements.
- Maintain a strong presence on the factory floor while also providing strategic leadership and direction.

- Proven experience in a leadership role within food manufacturing.
- Strong people management and team-building skills.

- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, planning, quality and logistics.
