At O’Connor Woodwork we have a vacancy for a Carpenter/Cabinet Maker to join our team. The successful candidate will be working on a number of commercial projects in the Leinster region. The role will involve fitting of specialized joinery and fitted furniture on our sites. This is a site based role.
Job Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for
- Fitting to the highest standard, all units and joinery items supplied by our workshop.
- Supervising other fitters or sub-contracted fitters who are working on the projects to ensure high standards are maintained.
- Ensuring any snags or defects are reported back to workshop and dealt with accordingly when returned to site
- Meeting the deadlines required.
You will be working on projects such as:
- School Fit outs
- Primary Care Centers
- Office Fit outs
- IPS Paneling and Cubicles
- Meeting the deadlines required.
Requirements:
- At least 5+ years of experience in the fitted furniture/joinery sector
- Experience of working from shop drawings
- Own transport

Pay: €40,000.00-€50,000.00 per year
