Nazareth Care Ireland is growing our Finance Team and we are looking for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join our organisation.
Job Description:
Job Title: Accounts Receivable Officer
Location: Nazareth Care Ireland, Regional Office, Malahide Rd, Dublin, D03 KW08
Reporting to: Financial Controller
Purpose of the job: To play a pivotal role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate records, and contributing to the smooth financial operations on Nazareth Care Ireland.
Main responsibilities:
· Ownership of monthly Resident billing process, ensuring accuracy and compliance
· Prepare and process monthly Direct Debits/ allocations
· Undertake credit reviews, follow up on unpaid debts
· Reconcile NTPF, Health Trust and HSE monthly statements, resolving discrepancies etc.
· Support to staff as ‘superuser’ of VCare Sales Order system (fees and ancillary billing)
· Ensure that all Residents have a valid contract for care and Direct Debit mandate
· Updating of notified Resident fees changes
· Assist operations with managing and resolving billing queries from Residents/ next of kin
· Bank account reconciliations
· Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting
· Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in accounting software (Pegasus Opera or Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
· Proactive and resourceful in resolving issues and improving processes
· Growth Potential: Ability to grow with the role as it develops
