Post Summary:
The School of Histories and Humanities seeks to recruit a full-time Executive Officer to cover a period of maternity leave. The purpose of the role is to provide administrative support for all aspects of the activities of the Department of History of Art and Architecture, but the postholder may be requested to assist in other areas of the School, as required by the Head of School, School Manager or by anyone authorized by the Head of School to give instruction.
Post status: Specific Purpose Contract
The specific purpose of this employment is to fill an Executive Officer vacancy on a temporary basis pending the return of the postholder from maternity leave. Employment is not offered on an indefinite duration basis as the original postholder is expected to return. If the postholder does not return to work the post will be filled through open competition.
Hours of Post: 35 hours per week
Salary: This appointment will be made on the Executive Officer Merged Salary Scale (€34,363 - €52,754 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales. (tcd.ie)
