Accounts & Payroll Administrator (Part-Time – 3 Days Per Week)

The Hydro Hotel is looking for an organised and detail-oriented Accounts & Payroll Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis, working three days per week.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounts professional seeking flexibility while playing a key role within a busy and growing hospitality business.
Working closely with the General Manager and Directors, you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial administration of the hotel, including payroll, bookkeeping, reconciliations, reporting, and Revenue compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Administration
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting systems
- Process supplier invoices, reconciliations, and payments
- Manage debtors and creditors ledgers
- Complete bank reconciliations
- Monitor cash flow and outstanding balances
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with management accounts and financial reporting
- Prepare and submit Revenue returns
Payroll
- Process weekly and monthly payroll accurately and on time
- Ensure compliance with PAYE, PRSI, pensions, and employment legislation
- Maintain payroll records and employee information confidentially
Systems & Reporting
- Maintain accounting records using Sage
- Generate reports for management and directors
- Ensure accurate posting of journals and financial transactions
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in accounts, bookkeeping, payroll, or finance administration
- Strong knowledge of Sage accounting software
- Experience processing payroll
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
- Hospitality experience is desirable but not essential
