The Warehouse Operative supports the day‑to‑day warehouse operations at Image Furnishings Ltd. by ensuring goods are handled accurately, safely, and efficiently from delivery through to shipping.
Main Responsibilities
- Receive and unload deliveries and containers safely
- Check incoming stock against packing lists and report any damage or shortages
- Perform quality and stock checks
- Store goods in the correct warehouse locations
- Pick, check, pack, and load orders for dispatch
- Handle product returns and ensure they are recorded correctly
- Support spare parts handling and basic product assembly needs
- Keep warehouse, workshop, and outdoor areas clean and organised
- Carry out basic equipment checks and report faults
- Follow all health & safety rules and wear PPE at all times
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous warehouse or manual handling experience
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry items
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Eager to learn, take initiative, and contribute to continuous improvement
- Flexibility to cover ad hoc stock takes, including Saturday counts
Pay: €27,000.00-€31,000.00 per year
