Apleona is currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to work in Dublin 14.
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm.
Role Purpose:
This role is responsible for providing financial insight and challenge to drive profitable growth. The role partners closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations to ensure commercially sound deals, robust forecasting and strong contract performance.
Main duties and responsibilities

Act as finance business partner to Operations team

Provide analysis, insight and recommendations on revenue, margin and costs.

Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for revenue, margins and overheads within assigned areas.

Monitor performance versus budget/forecast, explaining variances and recommending corrective actions.

Develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards to track commercial and financial performance.

Support monthly/quarterly performance reviews with clear and concise financial commentary.

Analyse contract profitability at customer and project level.

Work with Operations teams to optimise contract performance (pricing, indexation, rebates, delivery optimisation) to protect and grow margin.

Lead and motivate team of commercial analysts.

Build a collaborative, "one team" culture and strong relationships with both commercial and noncommercial colleagues.

Ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of financial data relevant to commercial activities

Support monthend close processes (accruals, provisions, revenue recognition assessments) related to contracts and projects.

Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls and relevant regulations.

Drive improvements in reporting, tools and financial models (e.g. standard bid models, contract P&Ls, dashboards).

Support or lead crossfunctional projects (system implementations, process redesign, costsaving initiatives).

Share best practice and help build financial literacy across commercial and operational teams through the implementation of AI solutions.
Qualifications and Experience

Ideally Third Level Business/Accounting or Commerce Degree

Professional qualification preferred

Experience in finance with a strong focus on commercial / FP&A / business partnering.

Excel modelling experience.

Strong influencing skills and proven track record of results.

Working knowledge of Navision an advantage.

Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills with the ability to manage several priorities.

Excellent PC literacy skills required.
