Job Title: Business Development Manager – Travel Sales (New Business Focus)
Compensation: €35,000 - 40,000 base salary per annum + Uncapped Commission
Must have fluent written and spoken English
Must be based in Ireland, with a one/two day per week office attendance required in Dublin.
Role Overview
We are seeking a high-energy, hunter-profile Business Development Manager to spearhead our travel portfolio. You will be responsible for aggressively sourcing new revenue streams, closing high-value corporate travel contracts, and building strategic partnerships to acquire new consumer segments. Your primary goal is to drive immediate growth and increase our market footprint.
Key Responsibilities
- Hunt New Revenue: Generate a robust pipeline of new leads through relentless prospecting, cold outreach, and industry networking.
- B2B Contract Acquisition: Identify, pitch, and secure profitable corporate travel accounts, business, and wholesale partnerships.
- B2C Market Growth: Develop innovative partnerships and direct-to-consumer campaigns to capture new leisure travel segments.
- Full Sales Cycle Ownership: Manage the complete pipeline from initial qualification and custom itinerary/proposal creation to contract negotiation and closing.
- Brand Representation: Attend travel trade shows, industry conferences, and tourism networking events to source fresh opportunities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 4 years of successful business development experience, specifically within the travel, hospitality, or tourism sectors.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding aggressive sales quotas and net-new revenue targets.
- Deep knowledge of travel market trends, corporate travel management, or leisure booking behaviors.
- Exceptional pitching, negotiation, and closing skills, with comfort presenting to C-suite executives and everyday consumers alike.
- Proficiency with travel CRM tools, booking engines, and pipeline management systems.
