Who We Are
Citi Commercial Bank (CCB) works with mid-market and fast growth businesses across the world, especially clients with international presence and aspirations. The key outline of this role is to help nurture the growth of cash revenues for CCB clients in Western Europe (WE). An ongoing commitment in providing cash management solutions and onboarding clients at lighting speed with enhanced client experience. Through those activities you will achieve an annual growth rate in cash revenue for the CCB business in WE whilst delivering excellent client experience. This role requires collaborating with other team members in day-to-day operations.
Key Outline
Based in Dublin, this role is to support the Cash Management Sales team cater to Citi Commercial Bank’s clients in Western European (WE) countries. In this role you will engage on complex deals, through deal review process, monitoring and supporting implementation. You will operate on a project-to-project basis, collaborating with cross-functional teams across Bankers, Product Sales and implementation, to deliver complex Cash solutions for our clients in WE. Your role will be at the front-end, ensuring that the complex Cash solutions that the client desire are appropriately structured and are ready to be implemented effectively. You will be seated and collaborate closely with expert partners who will implement the solution E2E; Know Your Customer, Account Opening, Implementations, Technical Implementations and Client Training. Those teams are organized by country where the client is domiciled and by language. You will engage with Bankers and Product Sales who are based in the country where the client is domiciled, in preparing client and RFP materials and assisting in structuring the client solution. You will engage with clients as part of the sales and implementation process, adapting the Cash solution to reflect evolving client asks, until the solution is implemented satisfactorily and generates value for the client and for Citi. You will engage with clients frequently, virtually and likely in their preferred language.
This is a new role, part of a new sales and implementation concept to drive growth of Citi Commercial Bank in Western Europe, leading with global Cash solutions. Teamwork, engagement and expertise underpin a successful E2E Sales and Implementation cycle. It offers great learning and growth opportunities, working with new clients and multiple partners across countries and teams. This new sales and implementation process, supporting the CCB strategic growth priority, will likely attract senior interest and support.
Core Responsibilities:

Own end to end sales process from Client solutioning stage to completed implementation and ramp.

Deliver superior client experience.

Act as one team in partnership with colleagues in Operations and Banking.

Focus on Fast Track deal wins and their implementation, actively unblock challenges to closure at each stage.

Regular tracking of deal pipeline and review of implementation and revenue realization

Maintain product knowledge to sustain your client advisor position within the client organisation.

Provide solutions for all escalated client issues and co-ordinate resolution to deliver excellent client experience.

Make Citi, the primary international banking partner for our client segments.

Work with Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) teams across product, sales and implementation to own the execution of the deals won.
Skills that will help you in the role:

Interpersonal and communication skills for effective presentations and conversions.

Experience in managing client relationships with ability to influence others to support client needs

Analytical skills to filter, prioritize and validate complex situations and inputs received from multiple sources.

Ability to multitask and prioritise conflicting deliverables both for clients and internally.

Ability to quickly identify problems and solutions leveraging cash product propositions, business drivers, policies, customer needs and market trends.

Knowledge of regulations, market practices and bank operations.

Fluent in German Language (ideally native speaker) and English is a must

Additional European Languages Fluency desired – German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Finnish etc.
Qualifications:

1-2 years commercial banking or relevant experience is ideal

Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
