The Role
As the Estate Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the estate and its private residences, ensuring every aspect of the estate runs efficiently.
You will coordinate household staff, contractors, maintenance schedules, budgets, security, events, and property projects while acting as the primary point of contact for the principal and family office.
This is a leadership role requiring excellent organisational skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to anticipate needs before they arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily management of the Estate.
- Lead, motivate, and manage household staff.
- Recruit, onboard and train new employees.
- Coordinate contractors, suppliers and external service providers.
- Manage planned and preventative maintenance programmes.
- Prepare and monitor household and estate budgets.
- Implement household systems, procedures and service standards.
- Liaise with principals, family offices and trusted advisers.
- Plan and oversee household events and guest visits.
- Coordinate travel logistics across multiple properties.
- Ensure properties remain immaculate and guest-ready.
- Manage refurbishment and renovation projects.
- Oversee security procedures and emergency planning.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety requirements.
- Always maintain complete confidentiality.
- Produce regular operational and financial reports.

- Has previous experience managing luxury hotels with grounds or estates.
- Is an exceptional organiser with outstanding attention to detail.
- Leads teams confidently and professionally.

- Can prioritise multiple projects simultaneously.

- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Experience
Experience in one or more of the following would be advantageous:
- UHNW or VIP households
- Royal households
- Family offices
- Luxury hospitality
- Boutique hotels
- Private yacht management
- Estate or property portfolio management
- Multi-property operations
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or professional qualification
- First Aid certification.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
- Full and Clean Irish driving licence.
