Job Summary
Customer Service Advisor - School Term
We’re seeking a proactive, customer-focused and highly organised Customer Service Representative who lives our values and genuinely cares about the customer experience. You’ll be the friendly face and trusted voice for parents, schools and our wider community—guiding them from onboarding through order fulfilment, resolving queries and ensuring seamless collaboration across every department.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver with Integrity & Humility: Handle and resolve queries from customers, parents, schools and the general public—always listening actively, communicating honestly and learning from feedback.
- Own the Process (Accountability): Manage customer accounts in our CRM with precision, keeping data up to date to drive timely, personalised service.
- Drive Excellence: Process and dispatch invoices, credit notes and order amendments swiftly and accurately, ensuring financial clarity for all stakeholders.
- Champion Dedication: Support new-customer onboarding—guiding each account through setup and first orders so every customer feels confident and cared for.
- Collaborate with Commitment: Work closely with sales, logistics, production and finance teams to coordinate route planning, packing (including occasional freezer work at –18 °C) and stock checks—guaranteeing orders arrive on time and in perfect condition.
- Empower Growth: Assist sales representatives with product training and system queries, sharing insights and best practice to help the wider team excel.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify recurring issues or process gaps and recommend enhancements to our SOPs to scale our service without sacrificing quality.
- Ad Hoc Support: Tackle any other tasks—ordering equipment, sourcing supplies, contributing to staff training initiatives—to keep operations running smoothly.
Requirements
- Valid, clean driving licence (occasional travel may be required).
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities—friendly, professional and empathetic.
- Previous experience with CRM systems preferred.
- Comfortable working in cold environments (freezer at –18 °C) when needed.
- Experience in customer service, sales support or logistics coordination is an advantage.
- A proactive, can-do attitude and a passion for continuous learning.
