Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Evaluations: Administer standardized and clinical assessments to measure fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, and self-care abilities. [1, 2, 3]
- Report Writing: Prepare clear, comprehensive, and professional assessment reports outlining clinical findings and actionable recommendations for home, school, and intervention planning.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with psychologists, speech therapists, physicians, and educators to interpret functional impacts on a child's daily life. [1, 2, 3]
- Family Consultation: Meet with parents or guardians to gather developmental histories, discuss assessment outcomes, and provide guidance on supporting the child's needs.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. [1]
- Registration/Certification: Valid professional registration with CORU
- Experience: Minimum of 1+ years of clinical experience working with pediatric populations, specifically with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, sensory processing differences, and developmental delays
- Garda Clearance will be required
Pay: €55.00-€120.00 per hour
