We are looking for an experienced Cable Pulling Supervisor / PICW to join our utilities and infrastructure team based in Dublin.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate cable pulling crews on-site for MV and LV underground electrical networks.
Ensure all activities comply with health, safety, environmental, and company regulations.
Carry out site inspections and surveys to assess operational, traffic management, safety, and resource requirements.
Plan and coordinate the delivery of cables, plant, materials, and equipment to meet project deadlines.
Operate and supervise the use of cable pulling equipment, including winches and cable drum handling systems.
Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives throughout project delivery.
Monitor progress against project schedules and ensure timely completion of works.
Maintain accurate records, reports, permits, and site documentation.
Support and mentor junior operatives and new team members.
Ensure safe use and maintenance of all tools, machinery, and site equipment.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ experience in cable pulling, utilities, or underground electrical infrastructure supervision.
Strong knowledge of underground utility and electrical distribution networks.
Hands-on experience with cable pulling operations, winches, and drum handling equipment.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage teams in outdoor site environments.
Full clean driving licence, including BE trailer licence.
