Occupational Therapist
An opportunity has arisen in our Occupational Therapy department for a Occupational Therapist.
This is a full time, permanent position.
Purpose of post:
-
To provide Occupational Therapy services to the clients, patients and their families attending the hospital.

Ensure a high standard of Occupational Therapy service is provided for patients under his/her care and ensure that professional standards of practice are adhered to. Intervention as guided by the Occupational Therapy process to include
-
Patient assessment and diagnosis
-
Treatment plan for each patient
-
Monitoring and reassessment of patient progress
Professional qualifications, registration, essential skills & knowledge:
-
Possess a University qualification in Occupational Therapy degree from the National Ireland or equivalent.

Be a member of or be eligible for membership of the Irish Society of Chartered Occupational Therapy is desirable.

Valid CORU registration

Have a minimum of one year post qualification experience (desirable)

Awareness / Sensitivity toward patient needs.

To show initiative and work without direct supervision.
