A Flexible Sales Opportunity for Someone Who Knows How to Sell Weddings
The Abbey is a premium exclusive-use wedding venue in Co. Kildare, Ireland.
We're looking for an experienced salesperson to take ownership of our wedding sales pipeline and help more couples choose The Abbey for their wedding.
This is a fully remote and highly flexible role that could work particularly well alongside other professional commitments.
You may already work freelance.
You may run your own small business.
You may work part-time in the wedding or hospitality industry.
Or you may simply be an experienced salesperson looking for an additional opportunity where your earnings are directly linked to your results.
We don't need you sitting at a desk from 9am to 5pm.
We need someone who can keep a close eye on our sales pipeline, respond quickly when new enquiries arrive and consistently follow up with couples until they make a decision.
What You'll Do
Our marketing activity generates enquiries from couples interested in getting married at The Abbey.
You'll take ownership of those couples from their initial enquiry through to booking.
You'll:
- Respond quickly and personally to new wedding enquiries
- Speak with couples by phone and WhatsApp
- Understand what they're looking for in their wedding venue
- Build rapport and trust
- Nurture couples throughout their venue search
- Consistently follow up open sales opportunities
- Book couples in for venue viewings with our team in Ireland
- Host virtual tours of The Abbey
- Follow up after venue viewings
- Answer questions and confidently handle objections
- Ask for the booking and close the sale
- Keep our sales pipeline and CRM accurate and up to date
Once the couple books, our wedding and venue team in Ireland takes over.
Your focus is sales.
A Different Kind of Flexible Role
This isn't a traditional shift-based job.
Wedding enquiries can arrive throughout the day and couples often want to speak in the evenings.
For that reason, we're looking for someone with genuine flexibility.
You might spend 20 minutes responding to a new enquiry in the morning, make two follow-up calls in the afternoon and host a virtual tour one evening.
What matters to us is that:
- New leads receive a fast response
- Couples feel personally looked after
- Follow-ups happen consistently
- The sales pipeline is actively managed
- Opportunities don't go cold
- Weddings get booked
You'll have significant freedom to organise your own time around the sales pipeline.
Who This Role Could Suit
- This opportunity could be particularly well suited to someone who:
- Already works freelance or remotely
- Works part-time and has flexibility during the week
- Has previously worked in wedding venue sales
- Has stepped away from a full-time hospitality career
- Works elsewhere in the wedding industry
- Is looking for an additional performance-based income stream
You must, however, have genuine sales experience.
We're not looking for someone who simply loves weddings.
We're looking for someone who understands sales.

Wedding venue, bridal, hospitality, events or other high-value consumer sales experience would be a significant advantage.
Pay & Commission
The role offers an hourly rate alongside a generous, uncapped sales commission structure.
We want the right person to be very well rewarded when they perform.
Your earning potential will be directly linked to the number of weddings you successfully sell.
The more weddings you book, the more you earn.
For an experienced salesperson who can manage a pipeline and close sales, this has the potential to become a highly rewarding additional income stream.

With a restored 18th-century chapel, ballroom, private courtyard and 38 bedrooms, couples can bring their entire wedding celebration together in one private venue.
