We are currently recruiting for a Fitness instructor to join our team at the 5 * Active Club at Hotel Kilkenny. The successful candidate must be enthusiastic and energetic and looking to develop their career within the Fitness industry. They should have an ability to work on their own initiative. There will be on the job mentoring and coaching offered to the individual also.
The ideal Candidate must have NCEF, NCEHS or Cert in Exercise and Health Studies qualification or equivalent.
Duties will include:
- Opening and Closing procedures, cleaning and management of gym equipment on duty
- Fitness Assessments for members
- Creating fitness programmes
- Monitoring members and their levels of fitness progress
- Pool Tests
- Tours of the Club
- Proactive selling of the club & memberships
- Cleaning and monitoring of the changing rooms throughout the shift.
- Conducting a variety of fitness classes such as Spin, kettle bells, Aerobic, Step
Advantages but not essential:
- Lifeguard qualification
- Experience teaching classes
Essential
NCEF, NCEHS or Cert in Exercise and Health Studies qualification or equivalant
