Pilsen Auto ŠKODA – Ireland’s Flagship ŠKODA dealership is seeking to further strengthen our team with an enthusiastic, motivated, and experienced Qualified Motor Vehicle Technician. A successful candidate will need to efficient, have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, be personable and able to work as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
· Servicing vehicles to the highest standard in line with manufactures specifications and guidelines
· Daily Accurate Clocking’s on Jobs.
· Complete relevant service documentation (Job sheets, PDI’s, service reports) in line with Skoda warranty and Dealer requirements.
· Ensure that the customers vehicle is ready at agreed day/time
· Liaise and seek advice from colleagues and supervisors in situations that are over and above work specified.
· Liaise with Service & Parts desks to communicate requirements, additional parts and repairs on customer vehicles.
· Check level and quality of work through use of diagnostic equipment and road-testing vehicles after work has been carried out.
· Keep up to date with product and system knowledge and understand and adhere to manufacturer brand service requirements.
· Ensure that workshop housekeeping standards are maintained at all times including the use of special and personal tools.
· Always maintain safe working practices and abide by the rules and standards of the dealership.
The Candidate will have
· A full and clean Irish or EU driving licence and eligibility to work in the EU on a full-time basis are absolute essential requirements for this role.
· Excellent attitude, highly motivated and enjoy a challenge.
· Have completed the full Solas Motor Vehicle Apprenticeship Program (All On & Off the Job Phases)
· Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines.
· Commercials awareness
· Fluent written & spoken English.
· Fully qualified and available for work on site in Ballymount, Dublin 12 Ireland.
