PBC Builders & Maintenance Contractors are seeking a Part tim, Grounds Maintenance Operative to assist in the upkeep of commercial, educational, healthcare and public sector properties. The role involves maintaining external areas to a high standard while ensuring a safe and professional working environment.
Key Duties
- Grass cutting, strimming and lawn maintenance.
- Weed control and vegetation management.
- Hedge trimming, shrub maintenance and basic tree care.
- Gutter cleaning and external property maintenance.
- Minor painting and repair works.
- Pressure washing and site clean-up.
- Safe operation and maintenance of grounds maintenance equipment.
- Driving company vehicles and transporting materials and equipment.
- Completing works in accordance with Health & Safety procedures.
Requirements
- Full clean driving licence.
- Experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping or similar outdoor work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good work ethic and attention to detail.
- Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification desirable.
- Pesticide spraying certification and trailer licence advantageous.
