Granite & Marble Crafts is a leading supplier and fabricator of premium Quartz, Porcelain & Natural Stone products. We are looking for a proactive and organised Stock Controller to join our growing team and play a key role in ensuring our workshop and installation teams have the materials they need to deliver exceptional projects.

The Role
As Stock Controller, you will be responsible for managing inventory across our warehouse and workshop, ensuring accurate stock records and maintaining the smooth flow of materials throughout the business. You will work closely with purchasing, production, templating, and installation teams to ensure products and consumables are available when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage stock levels of stone slabs and consumables
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming deliveries.
- Organise and maintain warehouse and slab storage areas to ensure safe and efficient access
- Carry out regular stock counts and cycle counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies
- Monitor stock usage and reorder levels to prevent shortages while minimising excess stock.
- Process stock movements and maintain accurate inventory records
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding deliveries, shortages, damaged goods, and returns
- Work closely with the purchasing and production teams to ensure materials are available for scheduled fabrication and installations
- Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or damaged stock and recommend appropriate action
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, particularly in the handling and storage of heavy stone materials
- Produce regular stock and inventory reports for management
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in stock control, inventory management, warehouse operations, or stores
- Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and stock management software
- Ability to work independently and prioritise workload
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments
Desirable
- Experience within the stone, construction, manufacturing, or kitchen industry
- Experience using ERP or inventory management systems
- Knowledge of inventory control methods and warehouse best practices
Pay: €28,300.00-€44,377.36 per year
