Excel Aviation is currently seeking an experienced Human Resource Executive on behalf of our client, a well-established and fast-paced organisation operating in a regulated environment, based in Swords, Co. Dublin.
The HR Executive supports the delivery of high-quality, consistent, and compliant HR services across the organisation. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the role plays a key part in the day-to-day execution of HR activities including employee relations, recruitment and onboarding, HR administration, and people data reporting.
The HR Executive acts as a first point of contact for managers and employees, providing practical HR guidance and ensuring policies and procedures are applied consistently. The role contributes to improving employee experience, supporting engagement initiatives, and maintaining strong HR operational standards.
HR Operations & Advisory

Maintain and update HR policies and procedures in line with current legislation and best practice

Act as a first point of contact for HR queries from managers and employees

Provide accurate, timely advice in line with company policies and Irish employment legislation

Support the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practice standards

Ensure all HR documentation and systems are accurate, up to date, and compliant
Employee Relations-
Support the management of employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, and absence cases

Assist with investigations, note-taking, and preparation of documentation
-
Ensure fair and consistent application of policies and procedures
-
Escalate complex issues to the HR Business Partner as appropriate
Recruitment & Onboarding-
Support end-to-end recruitment processes including job postings, screening, interview coordination, and offers

Liaise with candidates and hiring managers to ensure a positive recruitment experience

Coordinate onboarding activities ensuring all documentation, compliance checks, and inductions are completed

Maintain recruitment systems and reporting data
People Data & Reporting-
Maintain HR systems and employee records with a high level of accuracy

Produce regular HR reports (e.g. headcount, absence, turnover)

Support the HRBP with people metrics and insights to inform decision-making

Ensure data integrity and confidentiality at all times
Training & Development-
Support the coordination of training activities and learning programmes

Track completion of mandatory training and compliance requirements

Assist in identifying development needs and supporting learning initiatives
Employee Engagement & Culture-
Support engagement initiatives, surveys, and action planning

Contribute to activities that promote a positive workplace culture

Assist in organising employee communications and HR-related events
Compliance & Administration-
Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies

Maintain personnel files and HR systems in line with GDPR requirements

Prepare contracts, letters, and HR-related documentation
-
Support audits and compliance checks
General-
Promote the organisation's Vision, Mission, and Values

Work collaboratively with colleagues across HR and the wider business

Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role

Degree in HR, Business, or related discipline
-
CIPD qualification (or working towards) preferred
-
1–3 years' experience in a HR role

Experience in a fast-paced or operational environment desirable

Exposure to employee relations and recruitment processes

Accuracy and timeliness of HR administration

Salary: €35,000 – €40,000 (DOE)
