MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
" To undertake all aspects of cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, public toilets and public areas.
" To use as required floor-cleaning equipment.
" To ensure that all service areas and press rooms are kept as clean and tidy as possible.
" All lost property to be logged and handed up on a daily basis.
" To ensure that all cleaning equipment is kept in a safe and hygienic condition and to report any defects.
" To ensure all lights are turned off and windows are secure.
" To be responsible for ensuring all security coded door locks are secure after use. i.e guest rooms, press rooms and fitness center.
" To ensure a high standard of personal and general cleanliness and hygiene to comply with hotel standards.
" To follow guidelines on correct use of cleaning agents as directed.
" To attend to any reasonable request made by the Accommodation Manager and supervisors.
" To support the hotel laundry as and when required
" To report in logbook any customer complaints or compliments to the Accommodation Supervisor and take action if required.
" To report immediately any incidents of accident, fire, loss, damage, theft, unfit equipment or other irregularities and take such further action as directed by the Accommodation Manager or Supervisors.
" To attend meetings and training sessions as may be necessary from time to time.
" To take part in the hotel's Optimus Programme on a regular basis.
" To ensure guest's needs and requirements are met on a daily basis where possible.
" To deal with any complaints using the hotel's LISTEN Model (training on same given regularly throughout the year.)
" To undertake any other such duties or general tasks and hours of work as may reasonably be required and to work in other locations within the hotel's organization.
