Shuz 4 U Ltd t/a Skechers Ireland are seeking a confident and experienced Senior HR Executive to oversee the day-to-day running of the HR function for Shuz Group. This is a hands-on standalone role supported by a HR Assistant and reporting directly to the Managing Director. The successful candidate will lead all core HR activities, support managers across the retail and head office functions, and ensure compliance with Irish/NI employment legislation.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational HR Management

Lead the HR function, ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR support across the business.

Act as the main point of contact for all HR queries from staff and managers.

Advise the Managing Director and wider leadership team on employee matters, HR strategy, compliance, and risk.
Employee Relations & Compliance

Manage ER casework including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and performance processes.

Ensure up-to-date knowledge and compliance with Irish and NI employment legislation.

Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, handbooks, and contracts, ensuring legal compliance and best practice.
Recruitment & Onboarding

Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for both retail and head office roles.

Liaise with hiring managers to coordinate job specs, interviews, offers, and onboarding.

Ensure a smooth and compliant onboarding process, including reference checks, contracts, and induction plans.
People Management Support

Guide and support managers with probation management, performance reviews, training needs, and retention strategies.

Assist in driving employee engagement initiatives and promoting a positive workplace culture.
HR Administration & Reporting

Oversee and delegate daily administrative duties to the HR Assistant.

Ensure all employee records are accurate, up-to-date and GDPR compliant.

Maintain HR systems including absence records, annual leave, parental leave, Bizimply, and reporting tools.
Learning & Development

Coordinate and track training and development activity across the business.

Support implementation of development plans and talent progression frameworks.
Culture, Engagement & Wellbeing

Champion employee wellbeing, inclusion, and engagement across the organisation.

Lead internal HR campaigns and contribute to initiatives that support our company values and people-first culture.
Additional Responsibilities

Participate in regular and ad-hoc conference calls with senior management, external partners, and HR networks to stay aligned on business priorities, share updates, and represent the HR function.

Attend relevant HR events, seminars, or training sessions as required to keep up to date with the latest HR best practices, legal changes, and industry developments.

Candidate Profile
Required Experience/Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years in a HR Generalist or HR Executive-level role.

Strong, up-to-date knowledge of employment law (Republic of Ireland essential, Northern Ireland/UK desirable).

Proven experience advising and supporting managers on a broad range of HR matters.

CIPD accreditation or equivalent HR qualification is highly advantageous.
