Padre Pio Nursing Home is currently recruiting a full-time / part-time Staff Nurse. Day and Night Shifts available.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide care to Residents using a person-centred, holistic approach.
- Ensure that all residents are treated with dignity, privacy and respect and ensure they are treated as individuals.
- Maintain a high standard of nursing care within the Centre
- Maintain professional standards in keeping with An Bord Altranais Code of Professional Conduct and understand all An Bord Altranais documents and their implications for nursing practice.
- Good knowledge and awareness of HIQA standards and ability to apply this to daily care
- Medication management and administration in line with An Bord Altranais Guidelines
- Effective management of Resident needs

Requirements
- NMBI Registered Nurse with recent Nursing experience
- Stamp 4 or valid Irish Work Permit (eligible to work in Ireland)
- Excellent knowledge of IPC measures in theory and practice
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Professional, caring and empathetic nature.
