ProSys Containment & Sampling Technology specializes in the design and manufacture of sampling and containment equipment to meet the changing requirements of the pharmaceutical industry. Our products include both standard and custom engineered containment solutions. Due to continued growth, we are now recruiting for a Junior General Operator – Packing and Shipping
Key Responsibilities: Order Picking and Packing
- Pick products from inventory according to customer orders, work instructions, and packing lists.
- Accurately pack products into boxes, pallets, or crates suitable for domestic and international shipping.
- Apply correct labelling, barcodes, and shipping identifiers to all packages.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure product integrity, traceability, and compliance with company quality standards.
- Ensure proper handling of materials to prevent damage, contamination, or loss.
Order Preparation and Assembly
- Assemble customer orders from both stocked items and buy-to-order materials.
- Verify part numbers, quantities, and product specifications before packing.
- Coordinate with purchasing or production teams if items are missing or incorrect.
Quality Checks
- Inspect products for visible damage, defects, or discrepancies before packaging.
- Ensure packaging materials meet product protection requirements.
- Report any non-conforming products or issues to the supervisor or quality team.
Shipping and Dispatch
- Prepare shipments for dispatch by loading goods onto trucks, containers, or courier vehicles.
- Secure shipments on pallets or crates to prevent movement or damage during transport.
- Coordinate with logistics providers, courier services, and freight companies where required.
Documentation and Systems
- Complete shipping documentation including:
- Shipping labels
- Packing lists
- Delivery notes
- Commercial invoices (where applicable)
- Enter shipment details into the company ERP system.
- Use courier portals and Microsoft Office applications to process dispatch documentation and tracking information.
Workplace Safety and Housekeeping
- Follow company health and safety procedures at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hazard-free work environment.
- Use warehouse equipment safely (e.g., pallet trucks, packing equipment).
- Participate in safety training and report potential hazards or incidents.

- Basic understanding of warehouse or logistics operations is beneficial but not essential.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to handle manual tasks including lifting, packing, and moving goods.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse or shipping environment.
