About us:
PwC Ireland’s Tax practice is growing; as demand for our services increase, and the complex nature of the tax landscape continues to evolve, now is the perfect time to explore opportunities and join our team of more than 700 tax professionals across Ireland. We are a dynamic Partner led team with diverse Tax, Finance and IT backgrounds. Our Tax Technology & Transformation team works with market leading clients in a broad range of industry sectors to maximise operational effectiveness within their tax functions by leveraging best in class approaches and solutions. We help clients design and execute the right tax technology strategies to manage tax risks, increase efficiency and take advantage of the opportunities enabled by technology. The tax landscape is changing and we are continuously expanding due to our clients’ growing demand to leverage more efficient processes and technology to support the tax function as the volume and complexity of global tax compliance and regulatory requirements continues to increase.
What we do:
Our work is increasingly varied and involves supporting organisations with all aspects of tax technology across all tax heads including:
The design, build and implementation of tax solutions using best-in-class artificial intelligence, robotics, data extraction, transformation and analytics functionality;
What does this role offer:
By combining tax technical expertise with technology and systems improvement opportunities, you will drive positive tax ground-breaking objectives and deliver a more efficient tax function for our clients. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Building strong relationships and working across key client stakeholder groups (transfer pricing, corporate tax, indirect tax, finance, IT etc.) as well as working with PwC specialists internally and across PwC’s global network.
About you – Key skills and competencies:
Minimum 3+ years experience in a tax or tax technology related role, ideally gained in a top tier accounting firm, corporate, business consulting or legal environment.
Experience in tax or tax technology consultancy related roles working with tax related solutions in ERP systems and/or tax engines (SAP, Oracle, MSFT Dynamics, OneSource, Vertex or other).
Certification or extensive experience in agile technology and analytic solutions preferable (MS VBA, SQL, MS Power Apps, Alteryx, Tableau, UiPath).
