We are a well-established, busy GP clinic committed to providing high-quality patient care in a friendly and professional environment. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Sonographer to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team.
The Role
As a Sonographer, you will perform a range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations while working closely with GPs and other healthcare professionals to support timely diagnosis and patient management.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations in accordance with clinical protocols.
- Produce accurate and detailed reports for referring clinicians.
- Maintain patient comfort, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
- Ensure ultrasound equipment is maintained and operated safely.
- Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, and administrative staff.
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with relevant healthcare regulations.
Requirements
- Qualification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent.
- Current accreditation/registration as required.
- Experience in general ultrasound, including abdominal, pelvic, thyroid, vascular, and musculoskeletal imaging.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a busy patient schedule.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high clinical standards.
