Job Description
We are seeking two skilled and experienced Welders / Metal Fabricators to join B & C Fabrications Ltd in Dublin 12.
Salary: €36,950 gross per year.
Hours: 39 hours per week.
Contract: Permanent, full-time.
The successful candidates will be responsible for welding, fabricating and assembling metal components to the required quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG, TIG and/or Arc welding according to project requirements.
- Fabricate, assemble and repair metal components.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Measure, cut and prepare metal materials using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Grind, finish and prepare fabricated metal components.
- Carry out painting and finishing of fabricated metal components where required.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in safe working condition.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
- Work effectively with colleagues and supervisors to complete projects on time.
Key Requirements:
- Proven practical experience in welding and metal fabrication.
- Experience with MIG, TIG and/or Arc welding.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work safely and effectively as part of a team.
- Relevant welding certification is desirable but not essential where sufficient practical experience can be demonstrated.
- Previous experience in fabrication, manufacturing or industrial environments is desirable.
- Sufficient English language skills to understand work instructions and communicate effectively in the workplace.
