We are seeking an experienced and organized Dental Nurse to work with a well established dental practice in Carlow. The ideal candidate will have a registration with he dental council Ireland and experience with lab work necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists during examinations and dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilise instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms
- Support patient care and help patients feel comfortable during treatment
- Maintain accurate patient records and appointment notes
- Follow strict infection control and health & safety procedures
- Take and process dental X-rays where qualified
- Manage stock levels and order dental supplies when needed
- Provide post-treatment care instructions to patients
- Work closely with the dental team to ensure smooth daily operations
- Handle administrative duties including scheduling and patient communicationn.
- Implement initiatives to improve patient experience and build strong relationships with patients.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure the practice complies with all regulatory and quality standards (e.g., CQC, HIPAA, GDPR).
- Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills; proficient in dental software

Pay: €32,000.00-€42,000.00 per year
