Full training/uniform/PPE is provided to the right individuals.
Minimum requirements of applicants:
- Full Clean Driving Licence
- Good level of Spoken English
- Very Reliable
- Able to calmly talk with the general public
- Ability to stand on feet all day and lift/move traffic equipment
This is an outdoor job, that requires traveling to a site unloading traffic cones, barriers, signs etc, setting them out to a plan. Managing traffic and pedestrians while our roadworks colleague's work. Then clearing away the signs and barriers afterwards. Whatever the weather, rain or sunshine - the work goes on!
For individuals that do well and gain experience, there is the opportunity to progress to supervisor level. You will be expected to attend training courses to upskill and develop your skills (Paid).
This is a full-time job, with the expectation of extra paid overtime, some weekend working and occasional evening work.
The Depot for our Traffic Management team is in Kingswood Dublin 22 - however the first year to 18 months are expected to be worked on the North Circular Road (near Croke Park). The work after that will involve travelling in a company vehicle to locations across Dublin.
Traffic management is a new small team within our Civils Works division, so there is an opportunity to join at the start and grow with team.
Pay: From €16.00 per hour
