Are you an experienced dog groomer looking for greater flexibility, independence and a better work-life balance, while still benefiting from working within an established professional salon?
We are looking for an experienced and confident dog groomer to join our salon on a part-time contract basis.
Hours: 24 hours p/w
Location: Douglas, Cork
Free on-site parking
This opportunity may particularly suit an experienced groomer who would like to work a three-day week, has family or other commitments, or is looking for greater flexibility without the responsibilities and overheads of running their own salon.

About You:
We are looking for someone who is:
- An experienced professional dog groomer
- Confident completing full grooms independently from start to finish
- Competent across a range of breeds, coat types and grooming styles
- Reliable, professional and personable
- Able to manage their own working day effectively
- Fluent in spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and colleagues
- Passionate about animal welfare and providing a high standard of care
- Proud of the quality of their work
- Kind, patient and confident when handling dogs
This is not an entry-level or trainee position. Applicants must have professional grooming experience and be capable of working independently.
