What's the purpose of role:
The primary function of the Driver role is to undertake the delivery, offloading and loading of catering uplifts to various aircraft at Dublin airport and when necessary, handover the flights to the airline crew. This role is customer facing and requires good communication skills and a professional image. It involves food and equipment handling in a secure environment where compliance with procedures is mandatory.

What you'll be doing:

Check your vehicle prior to use at start of shift.

Load and offload meals from the truck and aircraft in a safe and timely manner, in accordance with airport safety rules, airline requirements and Company safety procedures

Ensure vehicle is security checked and sealed by authorised person before departing to the airport with specified documentation.

Drive to the aircraft adhering to RSA, local and airport rules and or law.

Drive to aircraft as per your training, ensuring you do not deviate from it at any point.

Load aircraft as per the galley plans and adhering to company policies.

Ensure security paperwork is handed over to crew and the delivery note is signed.

Return catering to the unit and ensure it is offloaded into the relevant departments.

Ensure Tacho is used for every trip.

Ensure all company vehicles are always signed out on leaving the unit and signed back in on return to the unit.

Carry out housekeeping duties in line with maintaining the fleet, including cleaning, refueling
- Assist within other departments throughout downtime

What you'll have:

Must hold a current class C Licence, CPC Licence, and digital tachograph.

Ability to drive both left and right hand drive (International)

Experience operating Rigid trucks
- Available to work weekdays and weekends

Be able to be garda vetted and complete a 5-year background check
