Qualified Mechanic with a minimum of 2 years post apprenticeship experience.
Ability to diagnose mechanical and performance problems.
Exposure to computer-aided diagnostics and the capability of performing quality diagnostics to exceed customer’s expectations.
Excellent communication skills. Ability to liaise with service advisors on required repairs and assist them in developing effective customer consultation.
Be able to document the repair of the vehicle on the repair order, verify proper parts and general clean-up of a workshop.
Experience in:
Auto diagnostic systems;
Engine, transmission and differential rebuilds;
Steering, suspension and brake overhauls;
Air and hydraulic braking systems;
Automotive electrical;
Alignments.
