- Duties:
- Report to Safety/Facilities Manager or designated representative.
- Maintain a secure and well-functioning work environment through the Company’s management systems: Quality, HR, OHS.
- Assist Safety/Facilities Manager in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations and in ensuring structures, devices and systems (e.g. fire alarms, air-conditioners etc.) are well maintained and working efficiently and safely.
- Participate in company provided training to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Maintain effective and safe functioning of facilities, systems and services including waste disposal and recycling.
- ·dentify furniture and equipment in need of repair and renovation- general handyman duties as appropriate.
- Restock office and kitchen supplies.
- Use of lifting equipment, pallet trucks and forklift for movement of materials and waste.
- Ensure high standards of cleaning are maintained throughout the Plant at all times in accordance with company policy and report any OHS/Facilities issues.
- Ensure all Facilities are made available to employees and contractors.
- Carry out daily/weekly housekeeping checks on the facility, the materials and provide support to Production and other departments.
- Assist external contractors with on-site deliveries and collections.
- Assist OHS/Facilities Manager with documentation when required.
- Perform additional duties as requested by the Safety Manager or designated representative.
Education/Qualifications (Desirable but not essential)
- Leaving Certificate or equivalent
Training/ Experience (Desirable but not essential)
- Knowledge and experience of FDA and ISO regulatory systems and standards
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing role beneficial
- Understanding of safety regulations in the workplace
- Forklift license
- Scissor lift license (MEWP)
- Full, clean driver license

Terms & Conditions
Full Time, 12 month fixed term contract
Hours:
8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday
8am to 3.30pm Friday
(applicants must be available to work all shift permutations including the following)
Shift Cycles:
a. 2 Shift Cycle: 6.00am to 2.00pm, 8.00am to 4.00pm, 10am to 6.00pm,
2.00pm to 10.00pm, 10pm- 6am Mon-Fri.
b. 3 Shift Cycle: 6.00am to 2.00pm, 8.00am to 4.00pm, 10am to 6.00pm,
2.00pm to 10.00pm, 10pm-6am Mon-Fri.
- Contract will allow for shift permutations.
- Holidays- 20 days per annum pro rata, increasing with service to a max, 25 per annum.
