Laundry Club Ltd is a growing commercial laundry based at Maynooth Business Campus, serving premium hotels.
We’re in the middle of a significant investment programme: a new Jensen flatwork ironing and folding line, gas-heated drying capacity, and on-site solar. We’ve also secured a major new Dublin hotel contract that will roughly triple our output over the next year.
This is a newly created role. You’d be the first Operations Manager the business has had.
The role
You will run the plant day to day and own how it performs. Reporting directly to the owner, you’ll lead a team of supervisors and operatives across a 5-7 operation.
Responsibilities:
- Own daily production planning and throughput
- Lead, roster and develop the floor team; manage recruitment and training as we scale
- Build and document standard operating procedures — this doesn’t currently exist and is a priority
- Own linen stock control, par levels and loss reporting
- Manage the delivery schedule and, once our own vehicle is in place, the driver recruitment
- Drive machine uptime: preventive maintenance schedules, supplier liaison, fault escalation
- Own health and safety on the floor — machine guarding, training records, chemical handling
- Be the day-to-day operational contact for our hotel clients
- Prepare the plant operationally for the new contract going live
What we’re looking for
Essential:
- 3+ years managing or supervising a production, plant or process operation with direct reports
- Demonstrable experience hitting throughput and quality targets under real deadline pressure
- Confident managing people — rostering, performance, hiring
- Comfortable writing procedures and working to them
- Full driving licence
Strongly relevant background — any of:
- Commercial or industrial laundry
- Hotel executive housekeeping or linen management
- Food, pharma or other regulated light manufacturing
Desirable:
- Familiarity with flatwork ironers, washer-extractors or industrial drying equipment
- Health and safety qualification
- Experience introducing systems or procedures into a business that didn’t have them
You don’t need laundry experience. You do need to have genuinely run an operation.
What we offer
- €40,000 – €55,000 depending on experience
- 21 days annual leave plus public holidays
- Real autonomy — you’ll shape how this plant runs and business grows along with the owner
- Direct access to the owner and a say in investment decisions
- A business that is growing and investing, not standing still
Hours
Monday to Friday core hours with flexibility required

Send your CV and a short note on an operation you’ve run and what you changed about it.
