Food & Beverage Manager
Hotel Killarney – Co. Kerry
We are seeking an exceptional Food & Beverage Manager to join our senior management team at Hotel Killarney.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional who is passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences, leading high-performing teams, and driving operational excellence across multiple Food & Beverage outlets.
We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, bring strong leadership skills, and play a key role in the continued success and development of our Food & Beverage operation.
The Role
You will be responsible for overseeing all Food & Beverage operations across the hotel, ensuring exceptional service standards, strong financial performance, and a consistent, high-quality guest experience across all outlets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop the Food & Beverage team across all outlets
- Ensure exceptional guest service standards are consistently delivered
- Manage staffing levels, rostering, and workforce planning
- Drive sales, profitability, and operational efficiency across the department
- Work closely with the Head Chef and senior management team
- Oversee stock control, purchasing, and cost management
- Ensure accurate use of the EPOS system and reporting processes
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, health & safety, and licensing regulations
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 2 years proven experience as a Food & Beverage Manager or Senior Food & Beverage role in a busy hotel or hospitality environment
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate teams
- Excellent knowledge of restaurant, bar, and café operations and multiple outlets simultaneously
- Strong commercial awareness with experience in revenue growth and cost control
- Highly organised with excellent communication and decision-making skills
- Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Experience with Alkimii (rostering) and Volante EPOS system (desirable)
- Ambitious, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement
