Job Summary:
We’re on the lookout for a friendly and energetic Waiter/Waitress to join our team. If you love making people smile and thrive in a fun, fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect fit for you. We have a full time position during summer and part time afterwards!
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests with a big smile and a warm welcome.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly, and ensure they’re delivered with a friendly touch.
- Assist in making beverages and desserts to add that extra bit of magic to our guests’ meals.
- Keep tables and dining areas clean and tidy to create a pleasant dining experience.
- Help with general cleaning tasks around the restaurant to keep everything sparkling clean.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues with a professional and courteous attitude.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions with care.
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure excellent customer service.
- Stay knowledgeable about our menu, including daily specials and promotions, to make great recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a similar role is a plus, but a positive attitude is what we value most.
- Strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for helping people.
- Ability to stay cool under pressure and handle multiple tasks with ease.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of beverage preparation is a bonus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays and 1 week day at a minimum.
- A true team player who is ready to jump in and help wherever needed.
