Project Engineer – Air Conditioning & Ventilation
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our expanding team.
We specialise in the design, installation and maintenance of air conditioning and ventilation systems across commercial, industrial and healthcare sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects and working as part of a growing, ambitious company.
The Role
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing projects from handover through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple air conditioning and/orventilation projects simultaneously.
- Coordinate labour, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Plan and programme works to meet project deadlines.
- Attend site meetings with clients, consultants and main contractors.
- Monitor project costs and progress.
- Order materials and coordinate deliveries.
- Ensure health and safety compliance on site.
- Carry out quality inspections and oversee commissioning.
- Prepare project documentation and handover information.
- Maintain excellent client relationships throughout each project.
About You
- Experience managing air conditioning or ventilation projects (would suit senior Duct fitter or AC engineer).
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Good commercial awareness.
- Full driving licence.
- Experience reading mechanical drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (experience with Sage or project management software is an advantage).
Location: Munster (site/office-based with office support also)
