Mechanical Site Foreman
Location: Limerick.
The main duties and responsibilities of the Mechanical Site Foreman are outlined as follows:

Work as part of a team in the delivery of one or more projects at any one time, embracing the ethos of a "one team" culture.

Supervise and coordinate all mechanical works on-site including pipework installation, mechanical equipment installation, testing and commissioning activities.

Ensure Health, Safety, Environmental & Sustainability standards, policies and procedures are always adhered to on-site.

Be familiar with the HSQE management systems and procedures in conjunction with the current statutory requirements.

Be available and willing to provide coverage should the Project Manager be absent for any reason, assuming responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the site.

Monitor mechanical progress against programme and budgets, understanding the impact any overruns may have on the project.

Have input into the development of RAMS and completion of safety paperwork including statutory and company safety inspections.

Understand the requirements in relation to project design, mechanical specifications and client requirements.

Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and direct labour to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Ensure all mechanical works are completed to specification, avoiding reworks and identifying and rectifying defects in a timely manner.

Participate in site safety inspections performed by both internal and external parties and assist in closing out any identified actions.

Liaise with clients, consultants and site management teams to ensure successful project delivery and maintain positive working relationships.

Ensure a positive experience for the client and their representatives, instilling an ethos of collaboration, co-operation and respect.

Other duties as required from time to time.
Knowledge, Skills & Experinece:
The main knowledge, skills and experience required of the Mechanical Site Foreman role are outlined as follows:

Fully qualifed mechanical craftsperson or plumber with relevatn certifications.
- Proven experience in a similar mechanical foreman or supervisory role within the water, utilities, industrial or construction sector.

Strong mechanical background with experience in pipework, pumps, treatment equipment, mechanical installations and commissioning activities.

At least 5 years experience in mechanical installation with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
- Experience working on Pharma sites
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs and technical specifications.

Manual Handling and Safe Pass required.

Basic understanding of health and safety standards and the ability to embrace the safety ethos of the organisation.

Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to work on your own initiative.

Ability to coordinate subcontractors, direct labour and mechanical installation teams effectively.

Ability to work well as part of a team and contribute to the successful delivery of projects.

Full Driving Licence.
