The Role
As a Carer, you’ll play a vital role in helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and happy in their own homes. You’ll provide high-quality home care tailored to each individual’s needs, always treating them with the kindness and dignity they deserve.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals, help with feeding, and promote healthy eating
- Support with medication reminders and household tasks (light housekeeping, laundry, shopping)
- Provide companionship and emotional support; chatting, activities, and building meaningful relationships
- Help clients maintain independence and engage in the activities they love
- Accurately record care provided and communicate effectively with families and our care team
- Deliver care that is consistent, reliable, and always client-centred
What We’re Looking For
- A warm, patient, and empathetic personality with a genuine desire to help others
- Previous care experience is preferred but not essential. We provide full training
- Excellent communication skills and a respectful, non-judgemental approach
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive can-do attitude
- A valid driving licence and access to your own car is essential (mileage paid)
- Garda Vetting (we will support this if needed)
