Road Control Services Ltd is looking for a dynamic, hands-on Depot Manager to take the reins of our dedicated depot. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at team management, and pride yourself on operational efficiency and top-tier health and safety standards, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
As Depot Manager, you will be the driving force behind our depot's daily success. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Leading the Team: Managing, mentoring, and scheduling yard staff, mechanics, and fleet drivers.
- Logistics & Assets: Overseeing the secure storage, maintenance, swift dispatch, and auditing of all traffic management hardware (VMS, temporary lights, cones, signs).
- Cost & Efficiency Control: Keeping a close eye on logistical and labor overheads to maximize value without compromising on quality or safety.
- Safety First: Ensuring absolute compliance with health and safety policies and staying ahead of current industry legislation.
- Relationship Management: Liaising directly with suppliers, managing inventory procurement, and working closely with Company Directors.
What We Are Looking For:
- TM Experts: A minimum of 5 years of experience in Traffic Management is essential.
- Proven Leaders: At least 1 year of Senior Management experience with exceptional man-management and delegation skills.
- Qualified Professionals: Must hold an SLG Qualification and a valid Category B Driving License. Fluency in English is required.
- Standout Extras: A Transport Management CPC, a Health & Safety qualification, or a university degree will give you a distinct advantage.
