We are currently seeking an experienced, caring, and motivated Deputy Manager to join our childcare team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about early years education and supporting children’s development in a warm and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Manager in the daily running of the creche
- Lead and support staff team
- Ensure high standards of childcare and safety
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
- Assist with curriculum planning and compliance requirements
- Step into management role when required
Requirements:
- Minimum QQI Level 6 in Childcare/Early Years Education
- Previous experience in a childcare setting
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Knowledge of Tusla regulations and Aistear/Síolta frameworks
- Experience with NCS portal
