Role Overview
As a result of our rapid growth, Keeling's Flowers are looking for floral operatives to join our expanding team to help with the production and supply of Flowers / Plants nationwide. Floral Operatives will be given full training so no experience necessary but passion and drive for producing high quality product is a must.
To assist in the production of high quality floral bouquets and plants to consistently meet customer specifications
Hours of Work:
40 hours a week, 9:30am to 6:00pm
7 day working week, 5 over 7
Shift Pattern: Two 12 hour shifts during 4 events (Christmas, Valentines, Mother's day and Easter). This will be 8:00am to 8:00pm and 8:00pm to 8:00am.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting in the preparation of flower production in a fast paced environment e.g. placing stems on line to achieve hand tied results.
Understanding and maintaining all quality assurance controls
Ensuring the operation is audit ready at all times by understanding the requirements expected
Preparing and applying the necessary materials for the finished products i.e. rapido's to bouquets
General compliance with all Health and Safety requirements
Ensuring high standards of hygiene throughout the site by adopting a clean as you go policy.
Reading and understanding pick lists to ensure customer specifications are achieved
What You'll Need
Essential:
Have at least 6 months experience in a similar role.
Good English speaking.
Desirable:
Work with a positive attitude and treat colleagues with respect.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
Proactive in identifying opportunities to improve the work environment.
To participate in any training program as required, in order improving your skills to carry out the job.
Be willing to participate in team related incentive schemes.
To perform the work in the most efficient manner.
Own transport preferable.
