Support Persons with a disability to access a wide range of community based services and opportunities to meet their individual needs
The candidate:
- Must have a relevant and appropriate 3rd level qualification Level 7 or higher on the Quality & Qualifications Ireland (QQI) framework in community development, health or education
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working with people with an intellectual disability/autism and complex needs.
- Must have experience of programme development, implementation and review, specifically for people with an intellectual disability/autism and complex needs
- Practical experience of how to make social inclusion and community integration a reality for people with intellectual disabilities/autism is highly desirable
- Practical experience of using various methods of person centred planning is highly desirable
- Must be computer literate including proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge and proficiency of using information systems
