Three Rock Group (TRG) is currently on the lookout for a Business Analyst.
TRG's most recognised brand is Chill Insurance Limited (“Chill”): a multi-channel insurance intermediary regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland. Founded in 2007, Chill has scaled to become one of Ireland’s leading insurance intermediaries. TRG is backed by Private Equity house Livingbridge, and having invested significantly in the infrastructure and operational teams in the business, we are now in a position to take advantage of a number of opportunities (both organic and acquisitive) which should lead to a more than doubling in the size of the business in the coming few years.
TRG companies include Chill Insurance, Quote Devil Insurance, an insurance intermediary and Ivernia Insurance Ltd, an MGA insurer.
The purpose of the Business Analyst is to provide high-quality financial and commercial analysis that supports informed business decision-making and drives improved business performance. Reporting directly to the CFO and working closely with the commercial analysts of Chill and Ivernia, the successful candidate will be responsible for constructing models to deliver and communicate actionable insights on several identified projects which drive the delivery of the Value Creation Plan. TRG has significant finance and commercial data resources and seeks an experienced modeller to translate complex financial and commercial data into clear, actionable insights.

- Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in a similar role.
- Being a qualified Accountant (ACA, CGMA) or equivalent is desirable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify meaningful commercial insights.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills and the ability to work at all levels in the organisation, inside and outside of the finance function.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modelling, data analysis, pivot tables and advanced formulas
- Ability to develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, budgets and business cases.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex analysis clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Possess energy and a positive attitude with a desire to drive constant improvement and change
- Experience working with large datasets and extracting insights from multiple data sources.
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling commercially sensitive and confidential information.
