Description
Energen Power is seeking a Newly Qualified Electrician to join our team working on live data centre commissioning projects in Sweden. This is a full-time, site-based role offering the opportunity to gain hands-on experience on some of the largest and most advanced data centre developments in Europe, working alongside experienced electricians and supervisors.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified electrician to build their career within a fast-growing sector, developing skills in electrical installation, testing, and commissioning on a high-quality, well-organised project.
Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installation works in accordance with drawings, specifications, and approved method statements
- Lead the testing and commissioning of back-up generators within the data centre facility
- Work safely and in line with RAMS, permits, and site safety procedures at all times.
- Report to General Contractor with day-to-day installation and commissioning updates.
- Ensure works are completed to the required quality standards and within programme
- Report any issues, defects, or delays to management
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Complete accurate documentation and quality records as required
- Coordinate with other trades and disciplines on site to ensure works are delivered effectively
Requirements
- Newly qualified electrician
- Basic understanding of electrical installation practices and safety procedures
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Good attitude, reliable, and safety-conscious
- Data centre, industrial, or commercial site experience is an advantage but not essential
