TITLE: Kitchen Porter - Part time

PLACE OF WORK:Saba , South William Street

Job Purpose:

To ensure quality service and standards working from our four Saba Way Values:

Responsible To:Manager on Duty

Responsible For:Cleaning and Maintenance

Duties and Responsibilities

To clean pots and pan, cutlery and crockery and ensuring food preparation sites are clean and ready.
To ensure that store rooms and cleaning cupboards are kept clean and organised.
To clean bathroom facilities each morning and keeping them clean throughout the day
To maintain highest level of cleanliness, including safety of furniture, fixtures and fittings. To ‘clean as you go’ to ensure a clean and tidy work area.
To ensure the correct use of all cleaning products and chemicals.
To ensure all deliveries are checked and signed before putting everything away in their designated places.
To ensure that all food and beverage products are correctly stored, dated, labelled and rotated where necessary.
To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene, and meet Saba grooming and uniform standards.
To comply with predetermined food handling procedures.
To follow the Saba Way standards at all times.
