JMGC is a Dublin City Centre–based letting company providing budget-friendly residential accommodation for people living and working in the city. We are a fast-growing group with operations expanding across Ireland, Portugal, the US, and China, alongside new business development in accommodation, international exporting, retail, and B2B home goods.
As we continue to scale, we are seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to take ownership of day-to-day finance operations and act as a key support to management and our external accountants.
The Role
This is a hands-on bookkeeping role suited to someone confident working independently in a growing, fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, timely payroll, and smooth month-end and tax-related processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Full ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping, including sales invoices, supplier invoices, expenses, and bank reconciliations
- Process monthly payroll accurately and on time
- Maintain accurate and well-organised financial records
- Prepare month-end information and liaise with external accountants on reporting, filings, and audits
- Support VAT, PAYE, and other tax-related administration, ensuring compliance and deadlines are met
- Assist with finance-related queries from management and provide ad-hoc financial support as required
- Continuously improve finance processes as the business grows
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in a bookkeeping or finance support role
- Strong working knowledge of bookkeeping, payroll, and Irish tax compliance
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
- High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving business environment
- Full working rights in Ireland (required)
