Role Overview
The Events & Group Sales Lead is responsible for driving group bookings and event revenue across the complex. This includes birthday parties, corporate events, school visits, private screenings, and team-building experiences.
This is a hands-on, role combining sales, customer service, and event coordination. The successful candidate will manage enquiries, proactively generate new business, and ensure a seamless experience from booking through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and convert inbound enquiries (phone, email, website)
- Proactively generate new business through outreach to local companies, schools, and organisations
- Upsell packages and add-ons (food, drinks, activities)
- Coordinate all aspects of group bookings from enquiry to confirmation
- Create tailored packages based on customer needs and budgets
- Maintain an organised pipeline of leads, bookings, and follow-ups
- Act as the main point of contact for group organisers
- Ensure a high-quality experience that drives repeat bookings and referrals
- Work closely with operations to ensure smooth event delivery
- Liaise with the marketing team to promote offers and improve conversion
- Provide feedback on customer trends, popular packages, and demand patterns
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, events, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing role
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple bookings simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
This is a Full Time position, the successful candidate must be fully flexible with hours.
