Job Summary
Due to continued growth, we are seeking reliable Concrete Labourers to join our construction team. The successful candidate will assist with various aspects of concrete work, including preparation and pouring. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills within the construction industry, working on diverse projects that require attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation of sites for concrete pouring, including setting up formwork and reinforcing materials
- Pour concrete according to project specifications
- Spreading and smoothing Concrete
- Moulding expansion Joints and edges
- Applying waterproofing and sealant to protect the concrete work
- Monitoring the material to ensure it hardens to a durable finish
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment safely and efficiently
- Carry out heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to meet project demands
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment to ensure safety standards are upheld
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to high standards
Skills
- Experience working with concrete an advantage but full training will be given
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to construction tasks
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
- Knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to adhere strictly to health and safety regulations on site
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow instructions precisely
- Good physical fitness with stamina for manual labour in various weather condition
Criteria
- Current CSR/Safepass Card & Manual Handling - Essential
- Right to Work in UK & EU - Essential
- Willing to travel for work in Ireland, UK & EU – Essential (2 weeks on 1 weekend home)
- Valid Driving License - Desirable
